How it works
Mechanical pollen removal, mucociliary clearance enhancement, and reduction of nasal mucosal oedema via osmotic action.
Use sterile or boiled (then cooled) water β never tap water directly (rare but serious infection risk). Use isotonic or hypertonic saline sachets. Rinse twice daily during peak pollen season.
Cochrane and systematic reviews show saline nasal irrigation significantly reduces symptoms and medication use in allergic rhinitis.
