How it works

CoQ10 is an electron carrier in the mitochondrial inner membrane. NADH is the primary electron donor for ATP synthesis. Combined supplementation addresses both steps.

Use ubiquinol form of CoQ10 for better bioavailability. Take with a fatty meal. Some patients report brief initial worsening before improvement.

Why limited evidence

A 2012 RCT found CoQ10 + NADH significantly improved fatigue scores in CFS patients versus placebo. Sample sizes remain small and replication is needed.
