How it works
Avenanthramides in oats inhibit NF-ΞΊB and reduce pro-inflammatory cytokine production. Forms a protective film on the skin that reduces trans-epidermal water loss.
Use lukewarm (not hot) water β heat aggravates inflammation. Pat skin dry gently and apply emollient immediately after the bath. Oat allergy is rare but possible.
